Nicolas Levy
Managing Director, MarketPrizm
Nicolas serves as Managing Director for the MarketPrizm business line for
Chi-X Global Technology, a provider of trading infrastructure technologies and market data solutions for exchanges and market participants. Chi-X Global Technology (“Chi-Tech”) was created through the acquisition of Cicada, a leading supplier of market data management and dissemination technologies, by Chi-X Global in November 2008.
Nicolas had joined Cicada in 2008 with responsibility for driving MarketPrizm business development. Delivered as an ASP, MarketPrizm is an innovative solution designed to help buy- and sell-side firms solve the infrastructure challenges associated with the MiFID best execution and algorithmic trading environment.
Nicolas has extensive international business development experience in the financial technology, software and services industry.
Prior to Cicada, Nicolas was CEO of GL Settle (a subsidiary of GL Trade Group), where he established a new, profitable business line. During his tenure at GL Trade, the group expanded from 120 to 1100 people and developed businesses in 23 countries. Nicolas had also served as the company’s Executive Vice President, Marketing Communications. He created the marketing and communications department, and also led financial communications during and after the company’s IPO. In addition, he was involved with five buyout operations in Hong Kong, Japan, the US, the UK and the Netherlands.
Prior to GL Trade, Nicolas served in several management positions with CDC Group, most recently as the sales manager for domestic and international back office services, where he increased the client base by more than 15% in two years. Nicolas’ other positions with CDC Group included sales relationship manager working with banking correspondents, sales manager for subcontracting back office services, and funds accounting manager.
Mr. Levy received a Maitrise Macro-économie from Paris I Panthéon – Sorbonne. He also received an Accounting and Finance certificate from Arts et Métiers – Intec.
